Artistic profile and academic training
Graduated from the National School of Performing Arts, 4 years of career
and 23 years of professional experience.
Training in Cultural Management- Cultural promoter
2008 - I trained as a Cultural Promoter in summer courses taught in
the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
2010 - I did a Cultural Management course sponsored by the Department
of Culture of the city, in Orange County, Orlando, Florida.
1988 - Folk dance at the School of Fine Arts, Santo Domingo and
modern dance with Imgard Despradel, in Santo Domingo, R.D.
More studies carried out:
-Currently I am studying PNL, at UNPNL, based in Madrid.
-I have studied Philology in Sanskrit Language at the U.B. 4th year
-I have a done practices of Yoga mantra meditation.
I was study in Miami, Florida. 2012-13 at OSSB ashram and at Vrinda Ashram,
places of spiritual recollection. In the spiritual field,
-2007 I studied Marketing and Advertising at the University of Barcelona
(unfinished).

Santa Morel was born in Santo Domingo,
Dominican Republic on August 29, 1968.
Spanish nationalized
since 1991.
Graduated in Performing Arts - Actress from the National School of Performing Arts of Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo.

My first professional opportunity came from the hand of Aidita Selman, in a pantomime show premiered in Jamaica in 1990. I directed “the Fable of the Five Walkers” by Iván García Guerra. I worked in the Group of "The Rolling Theater of Santo Domingo" one year, Directed by Salvador en Pérez Martínez. "A donkey is sold" directed by and starring Geovanny Jerez. I directed the play "Orinoco" produced by Santa Morel with the collaboration of Freddy Ginebra at Casa de Teatro, an emblematic venue for theater players. But after 1998 until 2016 I have developed almost my entire artistic career in Barcelona, Spain. For more details please continue the visit.

The beginning
In 1998 I registered my theater company, as a member of the Association of Actors and Stage Directors of Catalonia. I have worked in different television series doing figurations until I got supporting roles in television series. I participated in commercials and cinema until 2016 on the TV3 channel and Madrid.
I have led theater shows with music and dance for more than twenty years throughout much of Catalonia and in the United States, bringing theater and Caribbean roots to different stages in different cities within and outside of Spain.
Now in my last challenge, I was directing a play by August Strindberg with my stage adaptation entitled "Yo, the strongest" with the Dominican actress Carmen Molina.
Unfortunately, the global health alert for Covid-19 entered and we had to suspend. We will continue to work hard to release this theater piece later.
We have the support of artists and theater producer Gabriel D´Archiadi in Bogotá, Colombia as well as in the Dominican Republic.
The acclaimed actor Ilya Aponte who is an extraordinary manager and our production assistant and together we complete the cast of this exciting project "to three seas".
